Child: 59 stitches
Adult Small: 69 stitches
Adult Medium: 79 stitches
Adult Large: 89 stitches

If you are making this as a gift and need to guess which size to make for someone you judge to be an average adult head size, I suggest Adult Medium.

• US Size 5 Circular Knitting Needles
• About 200 yards of Worsted Weight Yarn
• (This is a pattern for beginners, so any medium weight craft store yarn, like Red Heart, will do.)
