This is a great project for using up small bits of leftover sock yarn. Quick and easy, this is also a good pattern for beginners.
Materials:
4 grams of leftover superwash sock yarn (approx 15 yards)
one ½” size button
tapestry needle
Recommended G hook. Gauge: 15 sc = 4” (a little bit flexible as the necklace is stretchy).
Stitches used:
Chain (ch)
Single crochet (sc)
Slip stitch, only used in picots
Picot (p) = ch 3, slip stitch in top of last sc made
Blocking the necklace is optional. The slight tension will hold it flat while being worn.
