Similar to my Easy Newborn Booties, these Easy Preemie Booties are a quick, easy project for those looking to make items for premature infants. Four different sizes and multiple ways to finish the cuff are included!

Level:
Beginner. Must have knowledge of basic stitches.

Sizing:
XS: Preemies weighing <1 lb. Finished booties measure 1.5”
S: Preemies weighing 1-3 lbs. Finished booties measure 2.25”
M: Preemies weighing 3-4 lbs. Finished booties measure 3”
L: Preemies weighing 4-5 lbs. Finished booties measure 3.5”

Gauge:
6 HDC and 5 rows= 2” with a H/8 5mm hook. Please test your gauge before starting. I’ll include some measurements along the way to make sure your gauge is still on track.

Materials:
50-75 yards of Red Heart With Love (each skein has 315 yards)
Size U.S. H/8 5.0mm hook (G/6 4mm hook for XS), or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle for sewing up back of slippers and weaving in ends
