A very simple, three petal poppy to hook up for Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day.

I always gently remind my friends and family, who I give one of these poppies to, to make a donation to their local poppy charity.

I used Stylecraft Special dk because it’s my fabourite yarn! Any dk will do. A smaller poppy can be made with 4ply and a smaller hook, and a bigger one with a heftier yarn and bigger hook. It really doesn’t matter with the gauge on this one.
