This pattern uses simple crochet stitches and works up into a warm, chunky blanket you can feel cozy in all through winter.

Skill level - Beginner

Materials:

• 9mm crochet hook

• 2,470 yds or (2,250 metres) of aran weight 100% acrylic yarn or fibre of choice. 2 strands of yarn are held together. I used 6.5 skeins of Big Twist Value Worsted yarn in the color Rust.

• Yarn needle to sew in ends

• Scissors
