This pattern is for the very beginner knitter, or someone who would like to make a great pair of boot socks without a fuss!

The inspiration for this design came from a request by my brother in Vermont. He has some heavy winter boots, and was looking for cushion and height for walking in the woods to hang his maple syrup tap lines….

Maybe I can get a sample of the syrup this Spring :) Hint, hint….
