This is an easy neckwarmer that is knitted flat and seamed, easily adaptable for custom length and height. You can make the final piece longer for a looser fit around the neck, or cast on less stitches when you start for a narrower band that can be made into an earwarmer instead. The sky’s the limit! Use some ombre yarn for a bit of extra fun.

Keep in mind that, if you follow the pattern, the final piece may feel kind of short (as pictured). Remember that the ribbing makes the fabric gather, so don’t fall into the temptation of making it too long by accident! Measure as you go if you’re unsure.

Make sure you bind off with the Stretchy Bind Off technique for best results!
