The crochet pattern is worked lengthwise resulting in a soft, warm scarf with plenty of gorgeous drape. With its simple ribbed texture and playful pom-pom accents, this scarf is not only fun to make but also a versatile accessory for chilly days.

I made this in two types of yarn.
Lion Brand Basic Stitch gauge 16 single crochet and 18 rows every 4 inches.
Yarnspirations Bernat Super Value gauge 13 single crochet and 16 rows every 4 inches.

Size
Mustard colored scarf: 4 ½ inches wide X 80 inches long.
White colored scarf: 4 ½ inches wide X 66 inches long.

Materials
Yarn. I used medium weight.

Lion Brand Basic Stitch. Mustard color, 2 skeins of yarn 185 yards each for a total of 370 yards.
Yarnspirations Bernat Super Value. White color, 1 partial skein of yarn 370 yards.
I used two different hook sizes. The mustard color scarf is worked in crochet hook size H 5.0 mm.
The white color scarf is worked using a crochet hook size I 5.5mm.
Measuring Tape
Tapestry Needle. If sewing on a Faux Fur Pom Pom, your needle should be able to fit through the holes.
Scissors
Faux Fur Pom Pom. I used the snap kind. If you use one with a loop, then you’ll want a button for attaching the pom pom. If there is no loop, you can attach the pom pom with yarn.
