A Cowl for the wild girl in you. As a passionate Harley Davidson biker (back passenger, my husband is the driver…) I was looking for a trendy cowl protecting my sensitive neck in the cooler times of spring and autumn.
The loop is round knitted in one piece to avoid annoying seems in your bike helmet. I have chosen a bit of a warmer yarn but you also can use a lighter cotton yarn for the summer.
I knitted this loop with a double thread. The beads are knitted in with a crochet hook. You need a lot of patience for this when it is knitted with double thread.
I did just a smooth blocking of the loop and left out the lower edge as I like the little curling.
You can adjust everything on that cowl easily - make it longer, shorter, wider or smaller.
