This garter stitch shawl will fit a 6” to 8” doll. Both dolls in the photo are wearing the same size shawl. Feel free to change the number of stitches or rows to fit a bigger or smaller doll. This non-triangular shawl allows you to knit as long as needed without creating a shawl that’s too long in the back.
2 strands of DMC floche are held together to knit the shawl.
Models are CP/Fairyland’s 6” Pukifee and 7.5” Realfee BJDs (ball jointed dolls).

Skills needed: cast on, slip, knit, kf&b, k2tog and bind off in knit stitch.

Gauge is important in this pattern. Make a swatch to check gauge and appearance.

52 yards total of DMC floche will make a shawl at gauge. (26 yards each of 2 strands)
DMC floche comes in 168-yard hanks. Don’t buy ½ hanks for knitting; whole hanks are chopped in half, resulting in lots of short lengths of thread.
