The designer stresses that you should get both stitch and row gauge for this pattern. The pattern calls for 9, 10, or 10½ needles, depending on what you need to get gauge.

The pattern uses five different colors of yarn. While there is a color photograph included with the pattern, its colors may not follow the order of the colors in the pattern.

The pattern isn’t charted, but is written out almost line for line from start to finish.

While there are three sizes, only one amount of yardage is given.
