Easy-to-Crochet Tartan Rug
Colour instructions are given for Royal Stewart Tartan, Macbeth Tartan and an unlisted tartan.
THE rug is worked in crochet wool on a foundation mesh through which crochet chains are threaded.
MATERIALS:
Royal Stewart colourway wool required: 21 red, 10 black, 6 green, 2 royal-blue, 3 white, 2 yellow skeins Daphne crochet wool.
Unlisted Tartan colourway wool required: 19 red, 10 green, 6 blue, 4 black, 3 white, 2 yellow skeins.
Macbeth Tartan colourway wool required: 13 royal blue, 10 navy, 6 green, 6 red, 5 white, 2 yellow skeins.
Chains are worked on a size 11 hook, foundation chain on size 12 metal hook.
Editor’s note: No gauge is given for this pattern. Any yarn could be used with an appropriate hook.
