Easy V-Shaped Poncho Sized XS to 4X
This is a colorful V-shaped poncho that can be worn during Fall and Spring most places, and during winter in the southern climates. It’s the perfect project to use up remnant balls and scraps in your choice of worsted weight yarns, works up very easily, and I’ve sized it to fit anyone from extra small/small (XS/S) to 4X. The sample shown is a size XS/S, and was made using left over yarns from other projects, all worsted weight 75% acrylic/25% wool blends. You could use any worsted weight yarn of choice.
SIZES
XS/S, M/L, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X
Sizing width-wise (around the body) is determined by the number of beginning chains at the v-neckline. The increases indicated to be made on each row will take care of the rest. Length is determined by how long you want it to be. As you are working from the top downward, you can try it on as you go to see how you like it, then stop when it gets to the length you like best. Since you will be working with your own worsted weight remnant yarn balls, there is no set yardage or yardage per color requirement per size. Just pick a color from your remnant stash at the beginning of any round/row and work until that remnant is used up. Then pick another color. For continuity of striping, change to a new color only at the beginning of a round/row.
