This really is a simple to knit, fast to knit, flattering for all sizes, waterfall cardigan knitting pattern.

It’s worked in three pieces: the body and two sleeves, then sewn together at the end.

You can adjust the length of the sleeves, width of the body and even the length of the overall cardigan simply (though remember to take that into account when ordering wool).

I guide you through step by step, and include a schematic and other images to help. Plus I’m always at the end of an email if you get stuck!

I’ve knitted it three times now, plus it’s been test knitted in different colours. Each time the finished cardigan is a floaty, warm but light, dream to wear.

It’s knitted in Drops Melody which I also stock. You could use similar weight yarn, but this might affect the finished piece. You will need around 300/400/500g.
