A while ago I lost my pencil case and recently I had some pretty colorful yarn to reuse. I turned into this simple small pouch, playing around with knits and purls to add a little flavor of my own.

The height of this pencil case is 3 inches / 7.5 cm, its width is 7 inches / 18 cm.

What you need is two knitting needles number 6 (US 10), about 40 yd / 35 m of yarn, a zipper and some sewing gear.
