Ebb and Flo by Donna Palicka is the sixth design of her Chicago Yarn Crawl Capelet Collection. Ebb and Flo was inspired by architectural ornamentation referred to as “triglyphs and metopes” found in Greek Architecture. The triglyphs alternate with the metopes across the front of the temple. The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry is a beautiful example of Greek Architecture.

Ebb and Flo is easy color work, knit in one piece from the top down with four colors; one main color and three accent colors. Designed in Malabrigo Susurro, a perfect summer blend of silk, linen and merino, this capelet has amazing drape.

Ebb and Flo is written in two sizes the original for sizes XS - XL and Ebb and Flo Chicago (aka Big Shoulders Edition) for sizes 2XL - 4XL. Yardage, needle size and colors are specific to the original pattern pictured in teals. Specifications for the 2XL - 4XL size are included in the purchased pattern.
