Ebb and Flow is a term used to describe the movement of water, often in relation to natural tides. Endearing friendships can ebb and flow like the tides as our busy lives distance us from one another. When life slows down, we come together as though no time has passed, happy to have that friend in our life once again. I designed this hat for a long time friend upon request. Our friendship spans decades and has endured, becoming more precious with the passing years. Like a good friend, this hat will comfort you when the weather turns cold, especially on those bad hair days. The lace and texture not only make this hat pretty, but also adds interest for the knitter.

This pattern includes written instructions as well as charts to give the knitter both options. The gray hat was knit using Lambs Pride Superwash Worsted, the rust colored hat was knit using Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash. Lambs Pride Superwash has a little more drape.
