Ebb Tide Mitts
The Ebb Tide Mitts feature bobbles, cables, and a gradient yarn in gorgeous ocean colors. These mitts are worked in the round from the bottom up, and the thumb is shaped using an arched gusset.
Crashing waves of thickly textured cables crest along the back of the Ebb Tide fingerless mitts. Bobbles form the focal point of these unusual cables. They’re whimsical and fun to knit while creating eddies of interesting movement along the back and cuff. On the palm lies a compelling arched gusset from which springs the thumb. Ribbing on the inner wrist runs all the way to the base of the hand providing superior fit at the cuff while narrow ribbing at the upper edge keeps the mitts close around the fingers. These ocean-toasty mitts are worked from the cuff upward.
