Crochet-inspired net bag.
The timeless open-knit net pattern is the perfect match to this everyday-carry-all. This roomy tote bag is worked in the round bottom up so you can easily adjust the length. The handles are attached at the end.

4 skeins of Field Gregoria Fibers (50g = 110 m / 120 yards) (43% linen, 37% cotton, 20% silk). Alternative yarn: same yardage for Sandnes Line (53% cotton, 33% viscose, and 14% linen).The bag is worked by holding two strands of yarn together throughout.For the sample we used one strand of our colourway “Fog” and one strand of our colourway “Ivory”. You will need 2 skeins of Field Gregoria Fibers of each colourway.
NEEDLES
5 mm / US 8 circular needles, cable length 60 or 80 cm / 24 or 32” for the pattern stitch. 4 mm / US 6 DPNs for working the edges and handles.
GAUGE
17 stitches x 24 rounds = 10 cm / 4” on 5 mm / US 8 needles in stockinette stitch worked in the round after blocking.
15 stitches x 24 rounds = 10 cm / 4” on 5 mm / US 8 needles in pattern stitch worked in the round after blocking.
