Ebla
Ebla socks are top-down with twist stitch stars in a diamond and hexagon latice, heel flap, round heel, gussets, twist stitch instep and short toe. Lattices in the round have the same problem as stripes that jog, but there are notes in the written instructions for dealing with that.
The finished sock circumferences are 4.25 (5.25, 6.5, 7, 7.5) ‘’ , 10.75 (13.75, 16.5, 18.25, 19.5) cm. See Choosing a hand knit sock size on Kate Atherley’s blog for guidance.
Notions Required
• Tapestry needle
• 2 locking stitch markers for heel
• 1-2 stitch markers to mark instep/sole
division if not using magic loop
The sizes of socks call for 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins of Anzula Nebula in Fern 84% Superwash Merino, 16% Sparking Stellina; 400 yds, 364 m per 100 g skein
