Materials needed for this 2-piece project:
100g brown 8-ply yarn
100g variegated (shades of brown) 8-ply yarn
Very small amount of dark grey 8-ply yarn (used for both snouts only)
3.5mm & 3mm crochet hooks
2 x 6mm black plastic safety eyes
2 small (3 or 4mm) plastic beads (for puggle eyes) with matching thread
Polyester stuffing/fibre fill
Wool needle –for assembling
Stitch marker

The yarns I most commonly use for my animals are: Panda Magnum 8-ply acrylic or Carnival Yarn 8-ply acrylic.
Completed Echidna & puggle toy measurements: Adult = 21cm long, 9cm high. Baby/puggle = 13cm long, 6cm high if using the suggested hook & yarn sizes.
Skill level for this pattern: Intermediate.
