These top-down fingerless mitts are as special as their inspiration—the sweet cast of characters who gather at Echo Lodge in the book, Anne of Avonlea.

The simple, mirrored lace on both the top of the mitts as well as along the thumb to the wrist, is reminiscent of the characters’ traipsing through the woods in search of wild strawberries and wood nymphs.

The innovative thumb attachment is designed for utmost efficiency. After you finish knitting the mitt, all you’ll have to do is weave in ends!

The Echo Lodge Mitts are perfect for self-striping yarn—sometimes you need more than a vanilla project for those beautiful skeins! The contrasting color on the thumb and cuffs will allow the stripe pattern to remain consistent.

These mitts make a lovely set with the Echo Lodge Socks!

This pattern includes charts and written instructions, and it includes video tutorial support. The pattern has been tech edited and test knit.

Finished Sizes: Child/Adult XS (6”/15cm), Adult S/M (7”/18cm), L (8”/20cm), XL (9”/23cm)
Finished size should fit with 0-1”/2.5cm negative ease around the widest part of your palm.
Schematics are included to aid in proper measuring and fit.

Gauge: 8 sts x 12 rows = 1” (2.5cm) in stockinette

Suggested Needles: US Size 1 (2.25mm); 32” circular or needles for small circumference knitting
