We run Arkansas Hedgehog Rescue, where we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pet hedgehogs. Each of my designs is named after one of our rescues. Echo came to us with a hair wrapped around her back leg, and it had to be amputated. She never let it stop her, or slow her down. She was stunningly beautiful, with soft, kind eyes. She was always sweet and gentle and enjoyed treats and cuddles.

This hat, cowl and fingerless glove set can all be knit with less than 1 skein. After designing and knitting my Echo the Gentle top (to be released soon!) I had some yarn left over. I adore A Thing for String’s yarn, and absolutely loved working with this colorway. So, why not use the same lace pattern and make something warm and cozy! Free during February
