This Outlander inspired crocheted Celtic cowl, is designed to celebrate the release of the first episode of season six of the Starz series. The Celtic design, looking like echoing sound waves, harkens back to Jamie’s memories of his time in Scotland with Tom Christie, while also representing the fishing sweaters traditionally worn by the immigrant Scottish fisher folk now wanting to settle on Fraser’s Ridge. The cowl is made from two skeins of DK weight yarn, as pictured Honey Girl Farms Sustainable DK in colors Marigold and Deep Space. The cowl can be worn in two ways, using the buttons to create either a larger kerchief cowl or a smaller kerchief cowl that hugs closer to the neck. All post stitches are worked in front of existing stitches.
