I designed these eco stitch markers so that there would be a biodegradable & sustainable alternative to plastic rings, newly mined metals & materials. At the same time these markers are nice jeweled adornments for you craft.

You can either use materials that you might already have around your house (the ultimate form of recycling) or you can go to my site and find the fine hemp yarn, recycled glass beads/vintage repurposed natural beads & natural/plant dyed tagua mix.

If you use what you have in the house it must be comparable to natural lace hemp (very strong). The yarn should not be soft and flimsy. The beads you use should not be larger than 5-6mm or they will be too bulky/heavy while knitting.

Either way as long as you do not buy extra beads that are brand new in their life cycle or some unnatural unsustainable yarn you are good to eco craft these cool stitch markers.

Enjoy!
