Crochet your own reusable mesh produce bags with this 4-pattern set. Two of the four patterns include two different sizes, however, the sizing can easily be adjusted for all of them. These bags make a great alternative to single use plastic bags. Bags are quite stretchy and hold more than you would expect. A sliding bead on the drawstring is used to close the bags.

Knowledge of basic crochet stitches required: single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch

BAG 1
Uses 1 skein size 3 light weight cotton, about 50 g/1.75 oz, and measures about 12 X 12 inches (30 x 30 cm), unstretched.

BAG 2
Uses 1 skein size 4 medium weight cotton, about 42.5 g/1.5 oz, and measures about 11 x 12 inches (28 x 30 cm), unstretched.

BAG 3
Uses 1 ball size 10 bedspread weight cotton (3 ply) (350 yds/320 m). One ball will make 1 large and 2 small bags. Large bag measures 9.5 x 12 inches (24 x 30 cm), unstretched; Small bag measures 7 x10 inches (18 x 25 cm), unstretched.

BAG 4
Large bag uses 1 skein size 4 medium weight cotton, about 42.5 g/1.5 oz, and measures 10 x 11 inches (25 x 28 cm), unstretched. Small bag uses about half of a skein, and measures about 8 x 10 inches (20 x 25 cm), unstretched.
