Ecru
I try to be practical and knit with the yarn I have in my stash. Sometimes, I need to get creative to make the project work. This Ecru sweater is knit using two different leftover yarns, so you can use your scraps or choose just one yarn for the project. However, the yarn should be soft and thin to make the cable pattern drape nicely on the body.
You can wear this sweater under a cardigan or pair it with a leather jacket. The name “Ecru” comes from the beautiful beige-toned yarn used.
The sweater has a cable pattern at the neckline that resembles pleats. The cables twist to the right and left. After the pattern, you’ll knit stripes, purl stitches, and do yarn overs around the stitches.
