Edda Hot Water Bottle Cosy
by Outi Kater
“An Icelandic stitch pattern from the 18th century has been adapted for this hot water bottle cosy, which is knitted in the round from the top down,” says Outi Kater. “Mock cable ribbing is used at the top and the bottom of the cover, and the shaping is done with raglan increases and decreases.”
Outi has used two shades of Proper 4ply from World of Wool for her design. This yarn is a blend of British Shetland and Bluefaced Leicester wool which is spun in Yorkshire, and is available in 20 handsome shades.
