Edelweiss
The song “Edelweiss” embodies several of the most moving scenes in The Sound of Music. In Captain von Trapp’s poignant vocals, we hear his aching love for Austria and, at the end of the movie, his deep sadness at having to leave his beloved country. Edelweiss mitts are a lovely textured interpretation of the flower and song, with a simple-to-work circular floret pattern that circles the entire mitt.
