Edelweiss Hooded Pocket Cable Scarf
Description
This cable hooded scarf is decorated with a two-color looping cable pattern. The item is made in one piece with an expanded width for the hood, which is then joined. The pockets are made by folding under the ends of the scarf and sewing the sides of the pockets together. The pattern includes a stitch diagram, diagrams for making the hood and pockets, and written instructions.
Materials
• Knit Picks Biggo Yarn (110 yards and 100 grams per skein):
o 3 skeins of color: Dove Heather
o 4 skeins of color: North Pole Heather
• Two Buttons for the pockets (on the back side of the scarf)
• A Pom Pom
Supplies:
9 mm Crochet Hook
Gauge:
7 sc stitches in 3 inches across, 6.5 sc rows in 3 inches high
Scarf Dimensions:
6 inches wide and 45 inches long from the top of the hood to the bottom of the scarf (excluding the extra length for the pockets). An extra 5 inches is added to the scarf for each pocket, which is made by folding the scarf end under and sewing the left and right seams.
