Edge of the Valley
This simple stranded colourwork hat ended up looking like the misty, wintery view out over the Willamette Valley - hence the name - Edge of the Valley. Shaded blue mountains covered with trees and a dusting of snow make this a a cold-weather trifecta: squishy yarn, warm ears, and a gorgeous view!
This pattern is fully written and charted for adult sizing. It’s a repeat of 8 and fairly easy to customize, if you have a head to try it on as you go.
There is also a blank numbered chart included at the end to colour in your own colours, in case you aren’t using Pantone! (A few testers tried it with other yarns and got great results.)
This pattern has been tested by my great group of testers. If you’re interested in testing with me, come check out my group!
Gauge is given for st st worked in the round with larger needles.
