Edge Scarf
This pattern started with a yarn.
It was 100% Imperial Alpaca, on clearance and incredibly soft!
Kirstin grabbed the last 2 little skeins from her local yarn store (McKinney Knittery) and immediately knew it had to be something next to her skin. Given the Texas climate is unpredictable, she wanted something small but lightweight and this little scarf was born.
Kerchief?
Bandanna?
Whatever you want to call it, “delightful” is the feel!
This pattern is customizable. Follow the pattern until you reach your desired width or half the weight of your yarn. Want to go bigger? Just keep going!
Gauge isn’t really important; it’s all garter aside from the cables. You will need a cable needle, dpn (double pointed needle) or a stitch marker to keep stitches out of the way while you work other stitches.
The pattern calls for just 50g of yarn in a sock/fingering weight in a single color. So go stash diving or find your favorite soft and squishy yarn and cast on!
