US 8 (5mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needle, or size used to obtain gauge.

Cable needle, tapestry needle, stitch markers (optional)

Gauge:
18 sts and 25 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st.
21 sts and 26 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Etna st, lightly stretched and measured lengthwise at the cable.
Note: While gauge is not critical to this piece, changing it does affect the amount of yarn used. Adjust this in your planning.
