I actually wrote this pattern years ago complete with a knitted sample, but it wasn’t quite right so I scrapped everything and tabled the idea. I resurrected it more recently and here it is, new and improved. My husband teases that I knit everything twice, because I never check gauge, but sometimes I write things twice, as well.

This tank is knit with a lightweight, 100% bamboo yarn that has a fabulous drape. It is also a great yarn for a summer weight knit. A patterned panel that evokes the image of water gently running onto a dry surface is placed at the sides of the tank. Increases on the front allows the neckline to loosely drape adding softness and comfort to this tank.

Southwest Trading Company Bamboo 100g skein, 250 yds, 229 m; color: Aqua; 4 4, 4, 5, 6 skeins; 800 900, 1000, 1150, 1300 yards needed (estimated to the nearest 50 yards).

1 set US #6/4.0 mm straight needles (optional)
1 24-inch US #6/4.0 mm circular needle

Notions required: stitch markers, yarn needle, Size F crochet hook, st holder or waste yarn
