This delightful edging can be made with any yarn/cotton/wool and appropriate needles although I have found cotton or metallic crocheting threads work best to get a well defined lace with hearts.

The lace edging can enhance so many project it can be incorporated into infants clothing, wraps, baby blanket or on its own as wedding gift ribbon a valentine present adornment and I feel sure your imagination will happen among a whole host of other ideas.
