Edie hat
The Edie hat is knitted with two strands of yarn and the whole hat is folded double for extra warmth and coziness during the winter months. Combining a strand of silk-mohair knitted together with a bulky weight brushed alpaca yarn makes the hat really soft and gives it a beautiful halo.
The Edie hat is designed for everyday use, and it quickly becomes the only hat you want to use! As it is worked in bulky and fluffy yarn and big needles, it knits up surprisingly fast. The hat is started top down and after the crown shaping the hat is worked in Stockinette stitch in the round. Then the middle part is worked in simple 1x1 ribbing, after which the second side of the hat is worked in Stockinette stitch and finished by shaping the other end with decreases.
