My lovely friend recently had the gorgeous baby Edith and when she was telling me about the bright stripe carpets for the nursery I realised that a plain cream or white blanket would not be right for this little lady! I decided on a rainbow colour blanket in an overlap stitch to make a really snuggly pretty blanket.

Great for being wrapped in, tucked in, playing on and playing with, this blanket really is an all-rounder.

The blanket uses double knit yarn and the easy pattern is a great starter project for those new to the craft.
