This is a fun and simple educational game to help children improve their hand/eye coordination and colour recognition.

The balls included in the pattern are big enough for small hands to be able to hold and pick up easily but also small enough that they are light enough to be comfortable.

The balls fit nicely into each basket with ease while not taking up too much room in you room.

This is a perfect pattern to use up some of those part used balls you have laying around.

I used Caron Simply Soft (Aran) but any yarn and hook can be used for this, although a lighter weight yarn and smaller hook will create a smaller set of balls and baskets.

If changing yarn and hood remember to use a hook that will create a tight fabric so the stuffing does not show through and so the baskets will stand on their own.
