Edwardian Cowl
All my patterns use US terminology.
Measurements
Neck’s diameter = 42 cm (16.5 inches)
Customize yours to the fit you want by taking measurements and crocheting a gauge swatch before you begin.
Yarn:Approximately 250 m (273.4 yards) of worsted or aran weight yarn for the long cowl and 210 m (229.6 yards) for the small cowl.
This little piece of a far Golden Age era will add a bit of elegance to your outfit.
You can use worsted or aran weight yarn for this project. These two yarns are quite similar but the result will be slightly different since worsted yarn is a little bit finer than aran yarn. If you work
with aran yarn the fabric will be a little bit thicker.
***** The lace motif is a multiple of 7 stitches so you can adjust the size simply adding or subtracting 7 stitches to the starting chain.
***** The instructions given in the pattern allow you to make a longer or a shorter version of the cowl.
I’ve used some yarn of my stash for this pattern. Please consider to do the same or buy some sustainable wool.
