Edwardian Stole
by Kat Oliver
An elegant wrap stole that whispers of the Edwardian age at the turn of the century. Pattern can be created with many yarns, but best created using natural fiber. Ewe Silky Thing is a 50/50 Silk and Merino blend. (3 skeins used.) Another choice with very different results is a handspun Angora blended with a bit of dyed silk noil. About 500 yards. (Sweet Tree Hill Handspun Angora is available in the farm store.
Pattern is a great choice for knitters just jumping into lace knitting. Pattern is written out. There is grafting, using the kitchener stitch. Have fun knitting this project and enjoy wearing your results for an evening out or maybe over jeans too.
