ENG: Edwardian Sweater is a funnel neck pullover with a subtle texture and a feminine touch. The funnel neck and the longer sleeve ribbings (with a little twist) vaguely resemble a typical style of clothing in the Edwardian era.

Edwardian Sweater is knitted top down, is completely seamless and has a modern drop-shoulder construction (inspired by contiguous set-in sleeve method developed by Susie Myers). The yoke is worked first in rounds before you split for front and back. Then it is worked in rows, before the front and back are joined again at the base of the armhole to be worked in the round. Sleeves are picked up at the edge of the armhole and worked in rounds to the cuff.

DE: Edwardian Sweater ist ein Stehkragen-Pullover mit subtiler Struktur und femininen Details. Der Stehkragen und die langen Bündchen an den Ärmeln (mit kleinen Twists) erinnern ein bisschen an die typische Kleidung der edwardianischen Ära.

Edwardian Sweater wird nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt. Dabei wird die modified drop shoulder Konstruktion (nach der contiguous set-in sleeve Methode von Susie Myers) angewandt. Die Passe wird erst in Runden gestrickt. Danach wird das Vorderteil vom Rücken getrennt und es wird in Reihen gestrickt, bevor die beiden Teile wieder für den Körperteil zusammengefügt werden. Die Ärmel werden an den Seiten aufgenommen und in Runden gestrickt.

Edwardian Sweater przerabiamy od góry do dołu, w jednej części bez konieczności zszywania. Konstrukcja ramienia to tzw. drop-shoulder (zainspirowana techniką contiguous set-in sleeve Susie Myers). Najpierw przerabiamy karczek w okrążeniach, dodając oczka na ramionach. Następnie dzielimy robótkę na przód i tył i przerabiamy ją w rzędach do wysokości pach, gdzie dwie części znowu łączymy ze sobą. Korpus przerabiamy w okrążeniach. Oczka na rękawy nabieramy na krawędziach przodu i tyłu i przerabiamy w okrążeniach bez odejmowania oczek aż do mankietów.
