The Eenie Meenie Baby Blanket is an easy to knit project using worsted weight yarn. With simple knits and purls and a repetitive pattern, you’ll quickly get into a rhythm as you knit this lovely baby blanket.

FINISHED SIZES:

Washcloth: 6” (15 cm) X 6” (15 cm)
Security Blanket: 14” (35 cm) x 17” (43 cm)
Stroller Blanket: 30.5” wide (77 cm) x 35” (89 cm)
All sizes may be made longer by adding pattern repeats.

APPROXIMATE YARDAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Size A. Washcloth = 25-36 yds (23-33 m);
Size B. Security Blanket = 228-234 yds (208-214 m);
Size C. Stroller Blanket = 900-950 yds (835-869 m).

Finished size and yardage requirements may vary depending on your yarn choice and gauge. Be sure to buy additional yarn if you plan to add length/width to your blanket project.

CIRCULAR KNITTING NEEDLES:

The Eenie Meenie Baby Blanket is knit flat (back and forth) in one piece. I used circular needles to accommodate the number of stitches required. The washcloth may be knit on straight needles if you prefer.

GAUGE:
Knit in pattern using U.S. size 7 needles: 19 stitches & 27 rows = 4” (10 cm).

Gauge is not critical but will affect the finished size and yardage requirements for this project.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy

If you are comfortable knitting and purling, you can knit the Eenie Meenie Baby Blanket.
