Materials:

• Chunky yarn of your choice (I used 6 weight acrylic/wool blend)
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 5mm)
• Button (I used 30mm resin button - large button recommended to reduce any choking hazard)
• Darning needle (and needle for sewing on button)
• Scissors
• Measuring tape

Stitches/techniques:

• Slip knot onto hook
• Making a chain
• Half double crochet (HDC)
• Half double crochet in back loop only (HDC BLO)
• Single crochet (SC)
• Double crochet (DC)
• Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
• Working into the 3rd loop of a chain (optional)
• Invisible finishing stitch (optional - demonstrated in video)
• Securely sewing on a button
• Weaving in ends
• Simple calculations
