Effortless Sweater
ABOUT
The Effortless Sweater is a reversible top-down yoke, raglan and set-in sleeve hybrid, seamless and easy to knit.
I wanted a sweater that looked effortless and at the same time expensive, luxurious and tailor made. That is why I chose CASCADE Aereo to knit it with: the yarn feels and looks like mohair, in a bigger ply.
The garment has some easiness and will fit you like a glove: it has shaping on the right places and will look particularly flattering for all beautiful curvy ladies out there.
The pattern will best fit hourglass, square and apple body shapes. For round and pear-shaped figures, I suggest adding some extra stitches while working towards the hips.
PATTERN
The pattern has written instructions accompanied by easy-to-follow charts, for the knitters who prefer visual directions rather than written ones.
Designer’s notes, technical tips, Schematics, Glossary and Abbreviations were also added into the pattern.
Tech edited by Bea Naretto.
CONSTRUCTION
After the yoke increase is done, the piece is divided in three parts: one for the main body and one for each armhole. The main body is worked first, followed by each sleeve, which will be placed back on dpns and knitted.
