There are hundreds of patterns for egg cosies. So why this one?
Well this pattern is aimed at the beginner knitter. There are 3 variations.

Variation 1 requires only the knit stitch
Variation 2 requires the knit and purl stitches
Variation 3 requires the knit, purl and knit 2 together stitches.

The pattern is aimed at those with little experience and confidence with reading patterns and comes with detailed instructions and photographs to explain individual steps.

Experience knitters you might find this pattern too simplistic.

I have used Drops Nepal yarn, but any aran weight yarn is suitable for this project. You will only need small amount for the cosy, the pompom might require bit more yarn.
