This is my third egg cosy, this time in the mosaic knitting technique.

Mosaic knitting is garter stitch, worked with one color at the time, changing color in every other round. The pattern is obtained by slipped stitches.

Yarn left overs work great for this project. I used cotton, since this is a food cover. The egg cosy might shrink after laundering.

The pattern is not tested by others than me.
