Egging Around
I wanted to make a basket of Easter Eggs this year, so I bought a few dozen plastic eggs and got to knitting. I had so much fun choosing the accent colors! I hope my Easter basket inspires you to make your own nest full of colorful stranded eggs. They are knit top-down in the round, with fewer than 25 rounds of an easily memorized stranded knitting design.
The egg cozy is designed to fit a 3.5” (9 cm) tall plastic egg. You’ll slip the egg inside the knitting and then knit the last 3 rounds with the egg inside.
