Here’s what you need to know before buying this pattern:

The pattern will give you step by step instructions for making the eggplant keychain. I don’t go into detail about all the types of stitches in the pattern itself, so please have a read down below to learn more about what stitches will be used. You will also need to have basic knowledge of colour changes and sewing parts together. The pattern is in PDF format.

Materials needed:

• 4 ply yarn (Purple, green and black)
• 2,75 mm crochet needle
• A pair of 5 mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Stitch marker (optional, but recommended)
• Stuffing
• Keychain (optional)
• Yarn needle (to hide ends)

Crochet stitches used in the pattern:

Ch - Chain
Sc - Single crochet
Inc - Increase
Sl st - Slip stitch
Inv dec - Invisible decrease (you can also use regular decrease, but the result won’t be as tidy)

Difficulty level: Easy/Intermediate
