The Egmond Shawl is a one sized, light-weight and airy project knit from top down. Increases in the middle and on both sides form a triangular shape, which ends with a nice picot edge.

I recommend self-striping yarn for knitting this shawl, but you are free to mix up yarn from your stash, or go for stripes. I used 3 skeins of Lana Grossa Ecopuno Hand-Dyed Yarn, which comes in a lot of beautiful color choices. You’ll only need a 3 mm circular needle to knit this piece.

The picot edge requires a little more yarn than the regular bind-off, and it takes a little more time to finish, but I think it’s all worth it!

Happy knitting!
