EGS Fireworks Blanket
The first of the large blankets in my “Eventually Granny Square” series, this one was inspired by colourful fireworks. It’s the perfect blanket to take with you to Victoria Day, Canada Day, Independence Day, or other celebrations that end with a fantastic fireworks display.
The pattern includes specific instructions (including individual yardage estimates for each colour) to make a blanket that is approximately 75” square. It also includes instructions for how to alter the pattern to fit the size of blanket you’d like to end up with.
Gauge in the pattern as written: a 4-round granny square = 4.5”, and your blanket will measure approximately 17 times bigger than this 4-round square.
